It was a funny old year last year! The weather at home has been shocking, whereas here it´s always lovely – well we’re not melting any more than usual!  Ireland built us up and let us down (again!) in the Euros – saying that, we built it up in our own heads, cause we hadn´t a chance!  And this recession thing has got worse…. and yet the likes of Katie Taylor have put a little spring back in our step.

 

More and more of the younger generation in Ireland and elsewhere are heading far and wide to weather out the “recession storm” and maybe it will all be of benefit to them and the rest of us, as they pick up life skills, stories and ideas that they don´t teach you in college!

 

For those of you that are left, come on down to our “rock”, pop into Charlie´s Bar, have a cold drink and forget about all that sh*te – life is too short…
